Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electronics and high-volume assembly sector, is seeking an experienced NPI Product Engineer to support new product introduction (NPI), product validation, and manufacturing readiness. This role is ideal for an engineer who excels at bridging innovative design with efficient production and enjoys working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
New Product Introduction & Lifecycle Management:
Lead NPI activities from prototype build through mass production readiness.
Define and maintain product specifications, engineering documentation, and standards.
Partner with R&D teams to incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT).
Support product enhancements, cost reduction initiatives, and end-of-life transitions.
Design Validation & Failure Analysis:
Conduct and/or support product validation testing (reliability, functionality, environmental stress).
Analyze test results and prepare engineering reports outlining findings and recommended improvements.
Lead root cause investigations and coordinate corrective actions for production or field issues.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain compliance, reliability, and performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a technical liaison between R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Facilitate technical reviews, design transfers, and readiness milestones.
Support supplier qualification and component validation with procurement teams.
Project & Data Management:
Manage engineering deliverables, schedules, and documentation using structured project management tools.
Analyze yields, defects, and process data to drive continuous improvement.
Own Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure accurate and timely implementation.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or -Manufacturing Engineering (Master's preferred).
-3-5 years of experience in product or manufacturing engineering, ideally within electronics or high-volume assembly.
-Hands-on NPI and product validation experience.
-Strong background in failure analysis and root cause methodologies (FMEA, 8D, 5-Whys).
-Proficiency with CAD, ERP/MES systems, and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab).
-Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
-English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 550+.
-Willingness to travel overseas for training, supplier support, or program launch.
